ADF's first major contract in New York was for the engineering, fabrication and installation of 18,000 tons of heavy built-up structural steel components on a fast-track schedule, which took only 16 months for completion.
Ingenious engineering solutions had to be developed to meet the load transfers, especially for the cantilever portion of the high-rise over the New York subway.
