History
1956 — ADF began its operations in as
a blacksmith shop operated by Jacques Paschini. His children, Jean, Pierre
and Marise Paschini, became the principal shareholders and officers of the
Company at the beginning of the 1980's.

1980 — In the early 1980's, ADF refocused its
activities on the production of structural steel for the non-residential construction
industry in Quebec and in Ontario.
1992 — ADF started expanding its activities
in the U.S.A., where the structural steel market was growing strong. As
a result, ADF obtained bigger contracts, mostly in the sports, commercial
and recreational sectors.
1997 — In April, the main production operations were moved to a new plant in Terrebonne, Quebec, which maximized the utilization of high-technology, computerized and fully automated production lines.
1999 — In July 1999, ADF became a public company of which shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (DRX).
