ADF Group Inc. announces the departure of its Chief Financial Officer.
ADF has increased its fabrication capacity to 100,000 tons/year
ADF has completed the refitting of one of its steel storage bays into a new fabrication bay, which covers 50,000 square feet (4,650 square meters) and is equipped with automated linear fabrication lines and new high-end steel processing machinery. This fifth fabrication bay has allowed ADF to increase its annual fabrication capacity from 65,000 tons to 100,000 tons.
The refitting of the plant fabrication bays was designed, and is continuously improved, to ensure an optimal and flowing movement between the various steps of fabrication and assembly.
Contract Worth $77 million In North America's Public Infrastructure Sector.
The contract includes the design and engineering of connections, supply of the steel, and fabrication of oversized steel components with complex geometry which will weigh close to 100 tons each, as well as highly complex architectural elements. The project will extend over a 20-month period, with delivery to start in the fall of 2009. [ Press release ]
New contract of $22 million awarded to ADF in the Northeastern U.S.A.
The contract includes the supply of material (steel), the fabrication, and the delivery of the steel structure of a significant portion of an office tower to be built in the Northeastern U.S.A. [ Press release ]
Freedom Tower and its Antenna - base and mast (New York, NY, U.S.A.)
ADF Group Inc. has been awarded a contract related to the construction of the Freedom Tower, Tower 1 of the World Trade Center Project. The contract refers to the fabrication and delivery of the steel superstructure and heavy steel components of an important portion of the future high-rise, a 108-story skyscraper, 1,776 feet (537 meters) high. It also includes the fabrication and delivery, in 17 different sections, of the base and mast of the 440-foot (133-meter) high antenna that will top this prestigious tower. [ Photos ]
